The main goal of the Auckland Hungarian Club is primarily to support the well-being of the Hungarian community in Auckland and, more broadly, in New Zealand, and to facilitate their integration into New Zealand society. In preserving and passing on Hungarian cultural traditions (language, culture, and customs) we consider it important to combine the old and the new — to look to the future while keeping the values of the past. Another goal of ours is for the local Hungarian community to be recognized on the cultural map of New Zealand through our members and activities.
